The 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Food We Can't Stop Thinking About

We just wanted to share which foods jumped off the page and made us start planning what we want to eat first. TL;DR

The Mickey Cinnamon Roll has our name on it, but the Devilish Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Bowl of Bones are not far behind.

We’re heading back to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and naturally we looked at the food first.

1. The Mickey Cinnamon Roll

There was never much competition for the top spot. The Mickey Cinnamon Roll is literally calling our name.

To start off…if Hayley and I could only eat one type of food for the rest of our lives, it would be some form of sweet bread. Cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, pastries: put sugar on bread and we are there. This one is no exception. Sometimes I feel like we have the palates of little kids, but hey, we can’t help but love gluten and sugar.

I don’t know if it’s because it was the first item on their blog, but it’s immediately what jumped out to both of us as the thing we want to try most.

2. The Devilish Crispy Chicken Sandwich

The Devilish Crispy Chicken Sandwich looks unreal.

I normally avoid spicy food, and this has spiced mayonnaise AND Fresno peppers, so it is already asking me to step slightly outside my comfort zone. But there is something about the picture that makes the whole sandwich look surprisingly fresh. I struggle with food that feels too greasy, especially in the middle of a long park day. The red cabbage, peppers, and dark Kaiser roll make this look brighter and more balanced than the usual fried chicken sandwich.

I love when theme parks take something familiar, like a burger or chicken sandwich, and elevate it just enough to make it feel special. The dark brown roll brings the Halloween look without turning the whole thing into a gimmick or relying on a bunch of dye, which we’re not fans of. Throw on the red cabbage and peppers, and you've got what looks like the perfect Halloween chicken sandwich.

I may regret the spice, but I’m ready to try it anyway.

3. The Bowl of Bones

The Bowl of Bones looks to die for, no pun intended.

These are pork wings fried with jalapeños and tossed in a Coca-Cola Cherry barbecue sauce. On paper, that combination should probably scare me away. I do not care much for spicy food, and I am not a Coke person either. Somehow, though, I am completely intrigued.

They look sticky, crispy, messy, and like the kind of food we will order just to try before realizing we want a second bowl. The sweet barbecue sauce and jalapeños could balance each other perfectly. Or this could be the item that proves I should have trusted my normal preferences. Either way, I need to know.

Honorable Mentions

The Not-So-Poison Apple Doughnuts did not quite crack our top three, but they deserve an honorable mention.

They are apple cider doughnuts rolled in apple cider sugar and drizzled with caramel sauce. Like I said, any bread-type thing that is sweet is our literal kryptonite. A cinnamon roll and an order of doughnuts in the same night may be excessive, but Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not really the place for restraint.

The Pumpkin Spice Margarita at Cinderella's Royal Table looks delicious, too. That is saying something because neither of us drinks very much.

It combines tequila, RumChata, pumpkin spice syrup, and oat milk, then finishes everything with crushed cinnamon-sugar graham crackers. It sounds less like a traditional margarita and more like a pumpkin dessert that happens to come with tequila, which is probably why it has our attention.

We may take one sip and remember why we rarely drink. But I also have a feeling it is going to be so good.

Ready to go back

More than anything, looking through the menu made the party feel real. Hayley already knows what the night is like. For me, this will probably be my first time back since I was around 10, and I’m ready to lean into all of it: the costumes, the atmosphere, the Halloween snacks, and even a little spice.

Now we just have to avoid filling up on the cinnamon roll before we try anything else.
