June Disney Pin Drops: Kingdom Hearts, Daring Detectives and More

Disney posted the June pin flyers for Disneyland and Walt Disney World, plus a third sheet just for Daring Detectives. All three are at the bottom with the prices and product numbers, so we'll keep this to what caught our eye.

Kingdom Hearts isn't really our thing, but we get why the Keyblade series headlines every month: Disney almost never makes Kingdom Hearts anything, the games have a massive audience, and this series is one of the only places it shows up. Pin six is Olympia, the Hercules keyblade, June 2 on both coasts.

We collect every Windows of Attraction pin, so the Pooh window (same day, Disney World) was circled the second the sheet went up.

Daring Detectives is the idea of the month. Attraction pins are our lane, characters less so, and this is a whole collection of them: two attraction pins on a card each week, park by park, and each park caps out with a mini jumbo that has a scratch-off map built in. Ours is staying unscratched. We know. It's staying unscratched.

Also on the sheets: Hunchback's 30th on June 16, Atlantis at 25, Jasmine and Quasimodo on the A-2-Z card at LE 1,250, Disneyland's last 70th Parade pin, and Stitch owning June 26 like he does every 626 Day.

If you're going for any of these, know that Disney Springs has new Pin Tuesday rules starting with the June 2 drop: no more overnight lines, the garages and rideshare loops open at 7am on release days, and wristbands are handed out at the Lime Garage. Pin Traders in the Marketplace is the dedicated pin shop, and you don't need park admission to get to it, same deal at Downtown Disney out west. And if you have a Passholder or DVC discount, ask at the register; no reason to leave it unused.
